Ahh! Yet ANOTHER year is in the books, and that means it's time for everyone's favorite holiday tradition — my best albums of the year list!
Before we get started, a quick note. If you know anything about me at all, you know that Metallica is my absolute favorite band of all time. Obviously, that means that unless whatever new thing they release in a given year is complete and total garbage, chances are they're gonna be my number 1 album of the year. Deal with it. BUT the thing is, this new album of theirs (minus maybe like 3 songs that miiiiight not be the best ones they've written in their career) is really, really great and 100% deserving of its status on this and any other year-end list you might stumble across.
Anyway, now that that's out of the way, let's get on with it.
